Maryna is our Finance Officer and is based in Cardiff. Maryna manages the day-to-day finances of Tennis Wales and works on a part time basis Monday to Friday, 9.30am til 3.30pm.

- How long have you worked for Tennis Wales? I have been here for 5½ years.
- What is your background? I am originally from South Africa where I have worked in finance, human resources and admin for most of my working life. I started off in banking, then health insurance, had my 2 children whilst being a house parent in a children’s home. Then I worked for the Council for Industrial and Scientific research, thereafter the motor industry and then the Consulting engineering business. My husband became homesick after 28 years in the sun and we immigrated to the UK in 2000. I started working for a painting and decorating company and then worked for an interior design company until I came to Tennis Wales in September 2013.
- What do you enjoy most about working at Tennis Wales? The flexibility and the team I’m working with.
- What are your hobbies? I enjoy reading thrillers, but I am working my way through the Game of Thrones book set at the moment. I used to do a lot of sewing, but I am not doing much of that now.
- What is your favourite film? Dirty dancing, Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman,
