Wheelchair Spaces

There are a number of wheelchair spaces available on Centre Court and Number 1 Court which provide space for one wheelchair user accompanied by a personal assistant.  Please note that the personal assistant ticket is complimentary.  Tickets can be purchased online however, for further enquiries or booking assistance, contact the box office on 0800 640 5001. (Line is open daily

 8am – 10pm.  Calls cost 7p per minute plus your network access charges).

Disabled Car Parking

Disabled Car Parking spaces are located at the North end of Hardwick Road with access via Gate 7 which is located behind the East Stand of Centre Court.  Spaces for disabled parking must be booked in advance by calling the Eastbourne Borough Council events team on 01323 415442 (open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm).

Please note that disabled parking is allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Accessible Toilets

There are three accessible toilets in the grounds.  These are located; under the Point Building near Gate 2, in the Centre Court East Stand, and on the Centre Court concourse.

Assistance Dogs

No dogs are allowed in the Venue, except for registered assistance dogs.  Registered assistance dogs are permitted into the Venue and in the disabled areas on Centre Court, and Court 1, they are not permitted in other areas of the grandstand seating.  Individuals wishing to access Centre Court with their registered assistance dog must buy a ticket for the disabled area.

Spectators are prohibited from bringing in the following:

  • Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon, including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives, large corkscrews), pyrotechnics and 'personal protection' sprays.
  • Bags larger than 16’’ x 12’’ x 12’’ (40cm x 30cm x 30cm).
  • Large flags (max. 2’x2’/60cm x 60cm) banners, rattles, klaxons, oversized hats or any items causing an obstruction or nuisance.
  • All promotional, commercial, political or religious items of whatever nature, including but not limited to banners, signs, symbols, marketing materials and leaflets (unless expressly authorised by the LTA).
  • Spectators are advised that the use of laptops, professional video equipment is not permitted on site. Photographic equipment with lenses of more than 300mm, when extended, is not permitted on site.

Please note, there is no left luggage facility on site.

Courtside Etiquette Courtside Etiquette addremove

To ensure players and fans have the best possible experience at the Tournament, we have set the following guidelines for when you are in and around the courts:

  • Please keep noise to a minimum during play
  • Please don’t leave your seat unless during a change-over
  • Mobile phones must be switched off in the vicinity of the courts
  • Please be respectful of those around you by ensuring that you do not obstruct their view or cause any unnecessary inconvenience
  • Flash photography is strictly forbidden in the stands and around the courts
  • Photographic equipment with lenses of more than 300mm, when extended, is not permitted on site.

First aid First aid addremove

St John Ambulance will provide the First Aid and medical provision for spectators.

There are two First Aid points – one located under the East Stand of Centre Court and the main First Aid area located in the North End of Devonshire Hall 2, which is on the East side of the Park.

Left luggage Left luggage addremove

Unfortunately there is no left luggage facility on site. Spectators may not bring a bag larger than 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm) into the grounds. For spectator safety all bags are subject to inspection by our security team and are brought to the Tournament at the owner’s risk.

Lost property will be kept on site during the event. If you have lost any items please email the tournament inbox at eastbourneinternational@lta.org.uk.

Merchandise & Programmes Merchandise & Programmes addremove

There is a Retail Village is located at the South end of Courts 4 and 5. Update your tennis wardrobe with clothes from a wide variety of brands, treat yourself to some beautiful Argent jewellery or take home some Eastbourne memorabilia as a keepsake of your day.

Programmes and used balls will also be sold during the event. Programme sellers will be located to the South and West sides of the new Court 2. Visit the Information Stand located at the South end of Court 4 to pick up some balls that have been struck by your favourite players.

You are also able to purchase a Programme (which includes a free Daily Order of Play) in advance via the Programme Master website. Read the Terms and Conditions for further information. 

Seat cushions are also available for hire throughout the event.

Security Security addremove

The organisers of this tournament take public welfare and security very seriously as a consequence the following notes of advice are offered to assist spectators during their visit to Devonshire Park.

  • Please arrive early as extra security measures including 100% bag search will be in operation. Gates will open at 10am on all days and early arrival will help prevent delays on being admitted.
  • Please be patient with the security checks, they are designed to assist you and keep you and your friends safe. Our staff are there to help.
  • Please do not bring unnecessary items to the event and please no sharp objects that could be confiscated.
  • If you spot someone acting suspiciously please report it to either the police, members of  the event security team and or event marshals.
  • Don’t leave bags unattended and never agree to look after anyone else’s bags.
  • If an incident occurs please listen to announcements form marshals and or the event organisers. Emergency plans are in place and are designed to keep you safe.
