Kyle Edmund came out on top of an all-British quarter-final clash at the Nature Valley International, battling past Dan Evans 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.

British No.3 Dan Evans saved three match points on Devonshire Park's Centre Court, but Edmund seized the win on his fourth opportunity to reach his first ATP Tour semi-final on home soil.

The British No.1 will face America's Taylor Fritz on Friday for a place in the ATP 250 tournament final. World No.42 Fritz overcame Hubert Hurkacz 6-4, 7-6(5).  The winner of Friday's semi-final will go on to play Thomas Fabbiano or Sam Querrey who both prevailed in their final-eight clashes - Fabbiano defeating Gilles Simon 6-4, 6-3 and Querrey overcoming Fernando Verdasco 7-6(4), 6-2.

In the WTA Premier draw, defending Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber ousted Simona Halep 6-4, 6-3 to set up a semi-final with Ons Jabeur.  The Tunisian fought back from a set down to defeat Alize Cornet 1-6, 7-5, 6-3.

Second seed Karolina Pliskova and third seed Kiki Bertens will meet in the second ladies' semi-final. 2017 champion Pliskova is still yet to drop a set in the tournament, sailing past Ekaterina Alexandrova in her quarter-final 6-2, 6-0, whilst Bertens survived a three-set battle against last year's finalist Arnya Sabalenka.

In doubles, GB Davis Cup star Dom Inglot and his American partner Austin Krajicek missed out on a spot in the final, falling in a tight two-set contest against Colombian top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.
