British tennis stars Jay Clarke and James Ward are part of the main draw for next month’s Nature Valley Open, taking place at Nottingham Tennis Centre.
The ATP Challenger - which runs alongside the women’s WTA International tournament featuring last year’s champion Ash Barty and British No.1 Johanna Konta - runs from 8-16 June 2019.
Ward was part of the Great Britain team that famously won the Davis Cup in 2015, while Clarke made his Grand Slam singles debut at Wimbledon last year.
Former World No.8 and crowd favourite Marcos Baghdatis will join Clarke and Ward and the Cypriot is no stranger to success in Nottingham, having won it in 2014, and reached the semi-final in 2015 and quarter-final in 2016 when it was an ATP 250 tournament.
Australia's Bernard Tomic, a Wimbledon quarter-finalist in 2011, is also in the draw, along with Mikael Ymer who was a Junior Wimbledon finalist in 2015 - check out the full player list.
Tournament Director, Rebecca James, said: “This is an exciting men’s line-up and it is great to have two British stars coming to the event. The quality of the men’s event increases year on year and I am sure a lot of the home fans will be looking forward to seeing the British players.
“Some of these players are the stars of the future - while there are some popular experienced players returning - so it is a great mix for fans and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Nottingham Tennis Centre to enjoy some quality tennis during the week.”
