Earlier this summer, Coco Fuzion 100, all natural coconut water, was announced as the title sponsor of the Fuzion 100 Trophy Series. The series features British Tennis events in Surbiton, Manchester, Ilkley and Southsea.

Staged at state-of-the-art grass court venues across the country, the four tournaments provide the perfect opportunity for up-and-coming Brits and international stars to prepare for Wimbledon.

Held in June, alongside British Tennis major events including the Fever-Tree Championships at The Queen’s Club, and newly-sponsored Nature Valley events in Nottingham, Birmingham and Eastbourne, the Fuzion 100 Trophy Series gives  fans the chance to enjoy world-class tennis on their doorstep ahead of the grand grass court finale at SW19.

With the grass court season in full swing and Wimbledon just around the corner, we’ve rounded up some of the best Fuzion 100 Trophy Series moments so far and look ahead to the Fuzion 100 Southsea Trophy taking place this week…

Fuzion 100 Surbiton Trophy

When? June 1 – 9

Where? Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club

What? Men’s ATP Challenger and Women’s ITF Pro Circuit

Surbiton hosted the series’ curtain-raiser, providing the earliest competition available on home soil. Britain’s Gabriella Taylor recorded one of the biggest wins of her career as she defeated top seed and 2017 finalist Heather Watson in the opening round, while Dan Evans made an impressive start to the grass court season as he reached the final four before falling to eventual men’s champion Jeremy Chardy.

Harriet Dart also gave home crowds plenty to cheer about as she defeated fourth seed and former world No.12 Yanina Wickmayer to set up a semi-final with Conny Perrin. Perrin prevailed in three sets and went on to meet Alison Riske in the final who sealed a straight sets victory to lift the trophy.

In doubles, Australian legend Lleyton Hewitt returned to the tournament for the first time in 20 years after receiving a wild card entry with Nick Kyrgios. The pair fell to British brothers Neal and Ken Skupski in the opening round but provided plenty of on-court entertainment along the way! The Skupskis went on to reach the final where they faced compatriots Luke Bambridge and Jonny O’Mara, who battled hard to capture a 7-6(11), 4-6, [10-7] victory.

Fuzion 100 Manchester Trophy

When? June 9 – 16

Where? The Northern Lawn Tennis Club

What? Women’s ITF Pro Circuit

Previously voted Manchester’s event of the year, the Fuzion 100 Manchester Trophy welcomed back Stockport’s very own Naomi Broady. The British No.3, who won her first WTA doubles title earlier this year, returned in fine form and finished a doubles finalist with American partner Asia Muhammad.

Harriet Dart’s impressive run continued as she defeated second seed Luksika Kumkhum to reach the final eight and the tournament concluded with a final showdown between Sara Sorribes Tormo and Ons Jabeur, with Jabeur cruising to a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Fuzion 100 Ilkley Trophy

When? June 16 – 24

Where? Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club

What? Men’s ATP Challenger and Women’s ITF Pro Circuit

Set on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales, the Fuzion 100 Ilkley Trophy offers one of the most picturesque settings in the country.

Dart continued to shine as she reached her third consecutive quarter-final after defeating Richel Hongenkamp and Anina Kalinskaya in straight sets. Tereza Smitkova was crowned the eventual champion as she prevailed in a closely-fought final with Dayana Yastremska.

Ukraine’s Sergiy Stakhovsky lifted the men's trophy following his brilliant form throughout the week which had seen him drop just one set to Britian’s Liam Broady in his opening round clash.

Despite suffering an early exit in the singles, Broady enjoyed success on the doubles court as he teamed up with Scott Clayton to reach the semi-finals.
