County Cup events give players the opportunity to represent their county in team competition in national/regional stages. The age group categories range from 9U to Open.
Events are held at different times of the year and in order to compete players have to be selected by their county. There are two separate County Cup competitions, one taking place in summer and one in winter.

Summer County Cup
The 122nd Summer County Cup event took place at 13 different grass court venues. The 2018 event was played from Monday 23 to Friday 27 July 2018.
This doubles only event saw 40 counties battle it out for promotion and avoid relegation from their respective groups. Six counties (per gender) in Group One battled it out at the end of the week to see who was crowned County Champion.
