The Winter County Tour (WCT) comprises both grade 4 and 5 competition for juniors from 8U through to 18U age groups.
For the 2018 Winter Season (September 2018 – March 2019) 10U to 18U age group events in the Winter County Tour will using the FAST4 scoring format whilst 9U will use the one match tiebreak to ten points or best of 3 tiebreaks to 7 points.

FAST4 Tennis provides a simple, exciting way of speeding up a conventional tennis match. The fundamentals of tennis remain the same, but there are four innovative rules that ensure matches are fast, competitive, exciting and can be completed in a reasonable period of time.
In summary the rules of FAST4 are:
- First to 4 games wins.
- Tiebreak at 3 games all.
- No Ad scoring.
- Play lets.

Why FAST4 Tennis?
Having listened to players and parents we have adopted this format to:
- Reduce time – we accept parents lives are busy and you want quicker matches. FAST4 matches take around 45 minutes
- Play more matches – with the introduction of FAST4 scoring format players can now play up to 4 matches in one day
- Accept more players – in oversubscribed areas of the country organisers will be able to accept 16 players (subject to court bookings) reducing the number of entries turned away.
Rules and regulations
In relation to LTA Staged Winter Competitions (ie. National Tour, weekend Winter Regional Tour, and weekend Winter County Tour tournaments) a player can enter only one competition at each grade in the same age group taking place on the same weekend.
