The Winter National Tour (WNT) is a series of Grade 2 tournaments, staged by the LTA, which provide national level indoor competition for the 10U – 18U age groups from October 2018 to March 2019.
Players earn points during the tour that go towards a WNT Leaderboard. The end of the Tour culminates in the Winter National Tour Finals for the best players in the Tour from each age group, based on their leaderboard position, to determine the Champion.
The aim of the WNT circuit is to bring together the stronger aspirational payers providing them with an opportunity to:
- Test & develop their skills against other strong players
- Earn a link space from a Regional Tour event to the National Tour event
- Earn bigger ranking points
For the 10U & 12U age groups there are three tournaments in the Tour.
For the 14U – 18U age groups there are two tournaments in the Tour.
There are no 9U Winter National Tour competitions.
The Tour offers the players:
- Guaranteed indoor matches
- Experienced & accredited officials
- Friendly & comfortable venues
