National Academy Open Day Bookings

To help inform the decision making process a series of open days are available to showcase the National Academy environments. Each open day will take place over one day and include a presentation from the Head Coach, an on-court session with the Head Coach, a tour of the campus facilities and a visit to the school and boarding accommodation.

We highly recommend you book onto an open day at each academy to help the decision making process and we welcome players, parents/guardians and any coaching team members who would like to attend.

Please note, attending an open day does not guarantee a place at a National Academy.

Travel expenses policy

If a player is travelling 200 miles or more for a round trip to reach a National Academy then they will be eligible for up to £150 contribution towards their travel and accommodation expenses. This can be claimed once per National Academy Open Day visit. To claim the travel contribution travel/accommodation receipts should be provided to playerpathway@lta.org.uk.

Tennis Scotland holds a number of rooms at the Stirling Court Hotel which is situated on the campus at the University of Stirling.
