The performance coach education and development programme at the LTA offers targeted support to coaches who are working with performance players on the Player Pathway. There are a range of continuous professional development opportunities which include:
Elite Coach Support
An individualised support programme is available for coaches working with professional players on the Men’s and Women’s tours.
Awareness of Standards Events
These are bespoke workshops that are held at key tournaments both domestically and internationally across all junior age groups. These events offer coaches the opportunity to undertake a learning programme based around observations of some of the best juniors in the world.
Performance Workshops
There are three tiers of events which include National, Regional and County workshops. These are one or two day educational workshops delivered around the country for coaches working on the Player Pathway. These workshops deliver the latest coaching science and sharing of best practice in player development.
Our CPD opportunities are targeted to support those working on the Player Pathway. If you work in or aspire to work on the Player Pathway and wish to receive more information around any of our continuous professional development opportunities please contact us via email.
