Each year over a thousand venues sign-up to run Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekends with over 55,000 people coming along to experience their local tennis club; but most importantly 44% of these attendees decide to join the club and play tennis more regularly following their experience. As a result, many venues run more than one Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekends event each year to capitalise on the positive impact they have in attracting new members and new players onto the coaching programme.

Tennis for Kids
Tennis for Kids is a fanstastic programme to get more young children involved in the sport. The course offers children, aged 4-11, the opportunity to fall in love with tennis, by taking part in a 6 week introductory course delivered by specially trained and enthusiastic coaches. Tennis for Kids is a great opportunity for venues to convert children onto their programme or join the club and also a fantastic chance to develop coaches through a free training day with inspirational Coach Mentors.

School-Club Links
Linking with your local school(s) can be a highly effective way of increasing your club's awareness within the local community and attracting new young players and their wider family to join your tennis club. But establishing a positive link with your local school is not always easy and can take time and effort to create a positive link that is mutually beneficial for the club, the school, and above all else the young players. The LTA and the Tennis Foundation have jointly produced the following recource to help clubs and venues understand more about establishing an effective School-Club link: Creating a Tennis Habit for Life: School-Club Links
