The Nature Valley Classic is committed to sustainability and we have a number of initiatives to minimise the effect we have on the environment, one of these being through using a Carbon Neutral waste management company. B&M Waste Services harness energy from waste and enhance the commitment to achieving ‘zero waste to landfill’. After removing all recyclables such as cardboard, wood and metals, any non-recyclable residual waste is compacted into bales and transported to a Combined Heat and Power Facility. Here, energy is harvested from the residual waste to produce electricity and steam, which produces thermal heating via the district heating system. Find out more.
