Fans will be able to follow Great Britain's Fed Cup team in their campaign to reach the World Group by catching live coverage from BT Sport.
The tie, taking place 20-21 April at East London's Copper Box Arena, will be broadcast live on BT Sport 3 and the LTA's Facebook page.
BT Sport 3 will provide comprehensive live coverage of the tie, hosted by Clare Balding with commentary from former British No.1 players Annabel Croft and Laura Robson, and David Law.
In February, Johanna Konta, Katie Boulter, Heather Watson, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan qualified for the World Group II Play-Off by defeating Slovenia, Greece, Hungary and Serbia in the Europe/Africa Group I competition. The event marked Britain's first home tie in over a quarter of a century and the team rose to the occasion by recording a remarkable 10/0 win/loss record. By triumphing in Bath, the team reached the World Group II Play-Offs for the fifth time in eight years and will face Kazahstan as they look to return to the elite World Group for the first time since 1993.
Who said what?
Scott Lloyd, LTA Chief Executive
We are excited BT Sport will continue to bring Fed Cup closer to GB fans. BT Sport are already home of the WTA and it seems only fitting they should continue our Fed Cup journey this year as we aim to get back into the World Group for the first time in more than a quarter of a century. I am also delighted to confirm that we will stream all matches on our Facebook page for free. This initiative forms a key part of our new strategy to open up tennis by showcasing our women’s team and bringing world-class tennis to new and existing British fans throughout the year.
Rachel Knight, Sports Rights Director, BT Sport
